CWM: “Listen, I have a bone to pick with the people of Johnson County because why didn't anyone tell me about this? Why didn't anyone let me know this was going on? Know I keep a close eye on everything going on with Johnson County Sheriff Adam King. I see it all.”

Truth Speaker: “Obviously, she doesn't.”

CWM: “But I didn't get invited to this shit show.”

Truth Speaker: “No invitation is required for public meetings.”

CWM: “Oh wait, OK I get it: the only people that were made privy to knowing that this whole thing was happening is Adam King's little cult that follows him around everywhere. And the reason I know that is because these are all the same people who sat in the trial for two weeks, and I recognize the back of every single one of their heads because I also sat in the trial for two weeks sit'n behind em.”

Truth Speaker: “Out of all of that nonsense, I am only amazed that she can recognize people by the back of their head.”

CWM: “So Adam King rallied up his little group to come speak the most amazing things about him and how unfairly he was treated during this trial…”

Truth Speaker: “She's dismissive of facts and driven entirely by her own bias.”

CWM: “…when he spent an entire career treating the people of Johnson County unfairly. His own co-workers unfairly.”

Truth Speaker: “Fake News, opinion, and unsubstantiated claims. In fact, there are many pictures of Sheriff Adam King, and JCSO employees smiling. People who don't like you, don't do that.”

CWM: “Come on guys, like I need to be at this stuff. We could of made it a lot more fun.”

Truth Speaker: “No need for her to be there.”

CWM: “Also, this Truth Speaker account is crazy. Don't…don't…just don't. I'm going to find out who this Truth Speaker is, though. I promise you that.”

Truth Speaker: “I am exercising my constitutional right to freedom of speech, and who I am is not her concern.”

CWM: “I want to make sure I get this right for you.”

CWM: “Sources very close to Adam King have indicated to me that Mark Daniels' team is also expected to withdraw pretty soon too. Here is the reason that is being cited. King is allegedly running out of money to be able to fund his defense. I cannot verify.”

Truth Speaker: “Fabricated statements that cannot be verified.”

CWM: “Sources extremely close to his situation are telling me. November 9th retrial is coming whether he has attorneys or not. A high-profile crime defense team does not come cheap by any means. If the money is gone, that is a real crisis for his defense.”

Truth Speaker: “That is a string of false statements. The "crime reporter" doesn't know about pro bono representation? Attorneys do not work for free, file motions and exhibits, or represent broke clients at a hearing. 10/13-26/26”

CWM: “CWM goes on to say the number of employees at the Johnson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) is down. Claiming 20-25 people have quit. Then trash-talks Ben Ariola because he is trying to run the jail.”

Truth Speaker: “Chief Deputy Blankenship (a Coup Member) actually oversees the jail. On 6/23/2026, JCSO Facebook posted a notice that Deputy Positions were available. CWM's numeric claims don't agree with the number of JCSO job postings or positions available online.”

CWM: “I want to take a second call at this Truth Speaker account that is online now. That is causing a lot of drama in this community. I have pretty much confirmed that this account is being ran by Lt. Hogan, which is incredibly inappropriate for an officer to be posting this kind of stuff.”

CWM: “And to also be making little threats towards me. Not sure what that means. I don't really care. But I am here to say, Lt. Hogan I am not scared of you…not scared of any of y'all. But this is your subtle warning to not ever threaten me again, because I am going to be figuring out what I can do with this information.”

Truth Speaker: “I did not threaten CWM. Once again, she doesn't understand what she is talking about. I meant what I said; I own crimewithmegs.com.”

CWM: “I used to live in Johnson County. I also worked for Johnson County.”

Truth Speaker: “Megan (with many names) has never been employed by Johnson County. The truth is Megs does not live in Johnson County, and she 'is causing a lot of drama in the community.' Her words, not mine.”

CWM: “We ruffled some feathers yall.”

Truth Speaker: “Not really. Projecting the wrongdoings onto others. Make note of the word we. She alone did not cause a change of venue. Her followers are also documented in the court record. The followers' threatening, vile, slanderous, and defamatory statements are now public record.”

CWM: “For the record, I've never claimed to be a journalist. I am a content creator centered around true crime.”

Truth Speaker: “That does not exonerate her or separate her from accountability.”

CWM: “Also.... I did not illegally obtain the jurors information after the mistrial, like the filing is suggesting.”

Truth Speaker: “The Motion for a Change of Venue did not state she obtained the statements illegally. Once again, questions the reliability of the information. She provided an alleged document from a juror, and there is no way to verify the authenticity, whether the author was a juror, or if the information is factual. She could send herself a text message and publish it.”

CWM: “You can't really sit here and talk about how huge my following is, and how it creates a bias jury pool, and not question that MAYBE those jurors decided to reach out to me??? Come on Smid.”

Truth Speaker: “More deflection and blaming Mr. Smid for what she did. That's interesting.”

CWM: “You know what also creates a biased jury pool? Having a small town Sheriff make national news at least half a dozen times now.”

Truth Speaker: “Still no self-awareness or personal accountability. What I know about 'national news' is that it generally will not impact local communities. Major networks use headlines as an attention grabber (clickbait), but that's about it. Lastly, I searched through the articles, and they were primarily from local networks and newspapers. I guess she thinks 'national news' is within a 70-mile radius. A 'national story' would have been covered by the AP, and it was not. Why would a guy in a place like North Dakota care about the Cleburne, TX sheriff?”

CWM: “I have so much to say, but I'm gonna lay low for a sec cause I genuinely care about these victims getting justice. That's more important to me than clearing the slop.”

Truth Speaker: “Megan Reep created the slop! She is allegedly separating herself from her wrongdoings for a noble cause. Now the entire trial may be moved, which impacts everyone, including the taxpayers and the innocent until proven guilty.”
